Boundaries

There appears to be
No clear right or wrong
There is weak
& there is strongThere appears to be
No agreed perspective
Only effective
And ineffectiveSome use the law
Or some wise insight
Some have to break things
To relearn it’s not rightAnd so boundaries
Are pushed on until
Another pushes back
With strength and willAnd so lessons are learned
An agreed perspective
Over what is effective
And ineffective
Wriggling

They have no shame
Because they are taught to be so
Fair play is for the many
A controlling showThey have no boundaries
No rules they follow
Under their act
Inside they are hollow.Norms and convention
Are no shackles for them
Decency and humanity
They abuse againHolding power is all
Using any culture war
They keep friends near
And others farThey hide in plain sight
They are a rich elite
They blame others
To distract from this deceit
Change

I believed the best ideas should win
The best people should be ruling
But they don’t want changeI listen to them, I try to talk to them
But it’s only lies or jokes from them
Cos they don’t want changeThey distract with Nationalism
They abuse with Patriotism
‘Cos they don’t want changeThey multiply culture wars
To divide into different parts
For subtraction & distraction
Cos they don’t want changeFree assembly suppression
Free speech oppression
Slogans with lies
And speeches with noise
They don’t want changeThey hide their power
Add money by the hour
Hold statues of wealth
Above equality & health
They don’t want changeGotta fight power
Gotta take power
Gotta win power
This world must change
The Genealogy of Morals

We build on the past
We turn commandments into laws
We build organisation and process
To protect rights and give causeWhat’s wrong and what’s right
Is no absolute thing
Because we grow and evolve
And reflect what change will bringWhat’s wrong and what’s right
Is guided by what’s effective
In achieving the best for you
And the best for the collectiveWe all bow to the collective
To the secular unseen hand
To the arbiter of who’s effective
Of who falls and who stands
